Subdivision Bonds

Subdivision bonds, are a special type of performance bond also known as site improvement or completion bonds. They are bonds designed to protect the owner/developer of an additional project such as a subdivision. The key difference between subdivision bonds and standard performance bonds is that the owner/developer (the principal) has to pay the cost of building the bonded improvements rather than the public agency (the obligee).
