Automobile
Twinbrook currently represents many of
the insurance companies providing automobile insurance in
Massachusetts. As a result, we can offer our customers many
different policies, coverage's, and options. With the introduction
of Auto Reform in April 2008 we now have the ability to "shop"
the market for the best program to fit your individual needs.
So what is Auto Reform?
Simply put, starting in April 2008 the auto insurance premiums
in Massachusetts will no longer be set by the state (Insurance
Commissioner) but by individual insurance companies. Allowing
the insurance companies to set the rates creates competition
in the marketplace, which should be beneficial to the consumer.
Will my Premium rates go down?
Generally speaking for your 2008 auto policy, Yes. All of
the companies we represent have indicated that most of our
policyholders will see a rate decease.
Under Auto reform many of the traditional policy discounts
will continue to be available, but new coverage's and discounts
have also been added.
Traditional Discounts:
- Multi-Car
- Public Transit
- Anti-theft
- Low Mileage
- Passive Restraint
- Driver and Advanced Drivers Training
New coverage's, options and discounts:
- Loyalty Credits
- Account Credits
- Actual Replacement Cost (New vehicle)
- Trip Interruption Coverage
- Accidental Airbag deployment
- Disappearing Deductibles
